Bird Watching Paradise

Paluma Range National Park forms part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Paluma Rage is home to many rare and endangered species of birds. Some of these include the Fernwren, Mountain Thornbill and the Grey-headed Robin. Also special, in that they are confined to tropical northeastern Queensland, are the Southern Cassowary, Red-necked Crake, Papuan Frogmouth, Buff-breasted Paradise-Kingfisher and Spotted Catbird.
